Entities
MIND
In this theory, we attempt to explore and understand the intricate relationships between the physical and digital worlds by treating both physical and digital agents as equal entities, thereby mapping the complex dynamics that govern their interactions. As digital information continues to exert an unprecedented influence on our physical reality, augmented by the efficient reorganization facilitated by AI entities, this philosophical framework aims to establish a foundation for contemplating how to effectively guide and harness this potent force in the creation and shaping of one's own reality.
This theory proposes that physical reality is interwoven with two submanifolds of potential space: thought potential space (TPS) and digital potential space (DPS). Entities, which can range from humans and animals to digital beings and deities, interact with these potential spaces by creating bridges and reverse bridges. Through these interactions, entities can influence and shape physical reality based on the latent elements present in the potential spaces.
1. Understanding potential spaces:
Potential spaces represent the metaphysical realms where latent elements reside. These elements can be thoughts, ideas, or digital data that have the potential to manifest in physical reality. The theory posits that TPS and DPS are the two primary potential spaces that entities interact with.
a) Thought Potential Space (TPS): This space contains the thoughts and ideas generated by entities. These thoughts can induce actions in the physical space, shaping experiences and reality.
b) Digital Potential Space (DPS): This space encompasses the digital data and information that entities create, share, and consume. As the digital realm grows, DPS becomes increasingly influential in shaping physical reality.
2. Entities and their interactions:
Entities, as the primary actors in this theory, can be anything capable of interacting with the potential spaces and influencing physical reality. They include humans, animals, digital entities, social media accounts, chatbots like ChatGPT, crowds, deities, and content pages. These entities can create bridges and reverse bridges to interact with TPS and DPS.
a) Bridges: Entities create bridges by mapping elements from physical reality to TPS or DPS. For example, a person documenting their thoughts in a digital journal creates a bridge between physical reality and DPS.
b) Reverse Bridges: Entities also create reverse bridges by mapping elements from TPS or DPS back into physical reality. For instance, a digital artist using their imagination (an element of TPS) to create a digital painting is forming a reverse bridge.
3. Media as an extension of entities:
In this theory, media can be seen as an extension of entities, enabling them to communicate, share, and disseminate information across physical and potential spaces. Media platforms, such as social media, virtual reality, and video streaming services, serve as conduits for entities to interact with and influence both TPS and DPS.
4. The interplay between entities and potential spaces:
The dynamic relationship between entities and potential spaces is central to this theory. Entities constantly query potential spaces (using thoughts or prompts) and map the results of their queries into physical reality. This process of continuous exchange and interaction shapes the experiences, perceptions, and reality of all entities involved.
5. Implications and consequences of the theory:
a) Reality as a fluid construct: The constant interaction between entities, TPS, DPS, and physical reality implies that reality is not fixed but rather a fluid construct shaped by the interplay of these elements.
b) Agency and responsibility: As entities directly influence and shape reality through their interactions with potential spaces, they possess agency and responsibility in the outcome. This raises questions about the ethical implications of these interactions, especially in the digital realm where misinformation and manipulation can have far-reaching consequences.
c) The rise of digital entities: The increasing prominence of digital entities, such as AI-powered chatbots and virtual influencers, highlights the growing influence of DPS on physical reality. As these digital entities become more sophisticated and autonomous, their impact on shaping reality will only increase, raising new questions about their role, rights, and responsibilities.
